Bec Capp is a curator/arts worker/photographer based in Melbourne.
In 2016, Bec founded Junior Space, an artist-run-initiative consisting of an art store and gallery space in Fitzroy. Junior Space closed the doors at 65 Smith Street, Fitzroy in December 2017.
Bec Capp oversaw two years of exhibition program, a total of 42 exhibitions plus workshops, book launches, film screenings, life-drawing classes, theatre and more.
Bec completed a Master of Art Curatorship at the University of Melbourne in 2016. In 2015, Bec undertook a research thesis entitled Changing behaviours and attitudes towards the arts to prevent burnout in medical students and professionals. A condensed version of her thesis was published on ArtsHub and featured in ArtsHub's TOP20 articles.
